RiverRoad Boys K-C Hall and upcoming events

Hi fans,
Well, it's time we got back to dancing after Hurricane Ike finished
his dreadful business! We trust that everyone survived this terrible
storm without too much inconvenience or storm damage.

This Saturday night, October 11, we will be back at our regularly
scheduled dance at the K-C Hall #2917, 607 E. Whitney Drive. We'll be
celebrating September and October birthdays and anniversaries since we
missed September's due to Ike. Don't forget, we start at 7:30p.m. and
play 'til around 11:30p.m. So come on out and have a little dancing
fun with us.

Also, mark your calenders for Sunday, October 19. We'll be playing for
a FREE Fall Festival show at The Texas Opry in Magnolia, Texas. We
start at 2:00p.m. and play for an hour. There will be barbeque to eat
and fun things for the kids to do. Go to www.TexasOpry.com for
directions if you've never been there. (Be sure to allow time for
Renaissance Festival traffic on FM 1774.)

On another note, we had sent out an email last week stating that the
Shrine Temple dance was re-scheduled (DUE TO IKE) for November 2.
Unfortunately, there was some unforeseen damage to the building roof
so they have re-scheduled it again for Saturday, November 22. This
will allow time for repairs to be made. The Shrine Temple is located
at 10510 Harwin, just east of the Sam Houston Tollway. So please make
plans to come to this event also. Call 713-664-3437 for information.

Don't forget, our BIG River Road Boys Christmas Ball, scheduled for
Saturday, December 6, 2008 at the Navasota VFW Hall. Tickets are NOW
ON SALE if you don't have yours yet! Western attire is encouraged.
BYOB, beer and set-ups on sale at the bar. Plenty of lighted parking
and RV hook-ups are available. Call Clyde at the number below for your
tickets and reservations.
We'll be at the Humble Civic Center on Tuesday, December 2, at
1:00p.m.-4:00p.m. for a Senior's Dance sponsored by Harris County
Precinct 4. Call 281-893-3726 for information.

We'll be at the SPJST Chandelier Ballroom on Beall St. on December 13.
We haven't played there in several years so we are pleased to be
playing there again. Please circle that date on your calenders also.

We'll be celebrating New Year's Eve, December 31, at the K-C Hall on
Whitney. Tickets will be $15.00 per person at the door. Call Clyde for
reservations for this one. Let's get next year kicked off on the right
foot!
