  • Next, we will be in Crockett, Texas on April 17 for the Texas Forest Country Western Swing Festival. It will be held for 2 days at the Crockett Civic Center. We will be appearing on Friday and open the event at 1:30p.m.

This is a wonderful venue with a great dance floor, plenty of secure parking and plenty of seating. Be sure to bring your friends for a great time.
  • Finally, we would like to announce that we will soon have our brand new CD for this year, entitled. "Houston" available for sale. It will go for $15.00 plus $2.00 S & H. The list of recordings are:

RiverRoad boys K-C Hall this saturday

This Saturday night, March 14, we'll be back at the K-C Hall #2917, 607 E. Whitney Dr. in Houston. We'll be celebrating St.Patrick's Day, so wear something "green." We're sure you'll have a great time.
We start playing at 7:30 p.m. and play 'til around 11:30 p.m. Call Clyde at (281) 356-7174 for reservations. There is plenty of free parking in the lighted and security-patrolled parking lot and this historic old dance hall has a great wooden dance floor, just right for some easy boot scootin'. Tell you friends and bring them along. Don't miss it!
See you there.

Jesse C Smith Jr,

It's been a while since we've put out a Newsletter. And here's why:

In the Studio

Founder Erik Dewhurst has been dedicating his spare time to working in the studio with Northwest musician James Sasser and his band.

James Sasser is a mainstay of the Northwest's live music scene. He's had success in Europe and a number of songs in independent movies and commercials. He's even had the honor of playing for the Cash family at a Johnny Cash tribute concert. His style is a combination of Buck Owens' country, Beach Boys' harmonies and Beatles' pop. Musician Forest is proud to sponsor James Sasser and we rather like his music as well.

His forthcoming album "Dip Your Beak" is his third release. It will be available this April.

Great show. Many Texas Musicians have worked as a member of the Cherokee Cowboys. Seeing Buddy Emmons perform was great.
