We've had a few private parties here lately and been busy getting ready

for my trip this week. I'm leaving Wed for the cornfields in Hastings,

Nebraska to play the Miles of Memories Festival for 3 days. I'm really

looking forward to it and I'm actually getting paid! That's even better news.

Had a blast last year in Iowa and I'm sure this will be even better! yeehaw!

I'm also going to visit my uncle and cousins nearby. That's always fun to

see them Polaks. Please hold emails this week so my inbox won't explode!!

thanks...

Academy of Western Swing Artist Awards/Liz Talley

My good friend and talented performer Liz Talley has been nominated for the Western Swing Female Vocalist of the year. The awards show will be held on Tuesday in Garland Texas. Liz has performed as a member of my band the LoneStar Cowboys and is considered a lifetime member. She has always had gigs when other bands didn't. Her web site is www.liztalleymusic.com I am blessed to have shared her tremendous talent. From the old Exxon swamp/ Jesse C Smith Jr I'M NOT SURE WHY LIZ AND BAD BOB WILL NOT PUT LINKS TO MY SITES ON THEIR WEB PAGES?

other pickers just in time to change clothes & go to work. ugh!! Had a blast

and got to meet Lynn Anderson (Rose Garden) & her wonderful songwriter

mom Liz Anderson....very cool!! I'm a little comatose, but I'd do it again!
